Spyware glitch

Not all spyware programs are completely reliable;
some of them develop temporary glitches that cause them to stop functioning.
When that happens, the spyware program will not work until the computer is restarted.
When a spyware glitch occurs within the computer of a targetted individual,
a domestic intelligence agency may use one of various methods to prod their target
into restarting their computer, and thus restoring the functionality of the spyware program.
