If a person were called a slime-swallower,
then most people woud probably ubject to such a label,
except for women who swallow semen.
But, this label is accurate for almost everybody:
The saliva glands within one's mouth produce different types of saliva,
including that which contains bubble-forming proteins, and, more relevantly,
that which contains particular glycoproteins which are called mucins.
Mucins, when mixed with water, form the slime that is called mucus.
The tissue of the sinuses create mucus,
but so do the saliva glands to a lesser extent, and much less consistently.
Part of the time, the saliva glands produce mucin-rich saliva,
and it is the norm for people to swallow that.
Only through copious contagious inadvertent gaslighting and
suggestibility is this the case.
