The ever-worsenning nadir

The ever-worsenning nadir is the current downward spiral of human society,
and especially the "western world", into Orwellian totalitarianism.

That decline began long ago in the United States, in the late 1800s,
and gradually progressed thereafter, but the decline quickenned after, in 2001,
the NSA-director Michael Hayden, and the Army Intelligence director Keith Alexander,
initiated their plot to attain total control over the country.

The decline into Orwellian totalitarianism has been especially rapid in the recent years
2019 through 2025 (the present year),
due to the totalitarian SIGINT agencies (especially the U.S.'s NSA and U.K.'s GCHQ)
tightenning their stranglehold over the anglophone world, choking-off some of the last chunks of freedom.
That was made possible largely by a 2017 executive order by Donald Trump,
which relinquished the presidential decision-making power over the NSA.

The totalitarians tighten their grip via such methods as javascript mandate letters,
indirect javascript mandate letters, hacking-code mandate letters,
TLS-1.3 mandate letters, Cloudflare mandate letters, deletion mandate letters,
dial-up shut-down letters, perma-DDoS attacks, the DDoS-and-mandate method,
creating pseudo-anonymous webmail (RoundCube and ProtonMail),
commandeering major companies and organizations
(e.g. Microsoft, Google, Cloudflare), and other methods.
