Columbus

Columbus is a very famous traveller (from Genoa, of Italian Jewish ancestry, whether this fact is good or not), who discovered America. Although the angry Vikings visited the continent (went from Greenland to Canada), yet it doesn't mean anything.

The result of this traveller wasn't named after him, who really wanted to discover India, yet he got the wrong ticket. Instead, the continent was named after an Italian Amerigo Vespucci (America). Yet some random drug-drift-shitted South American barons wanted to fix their mistake, and called their narcoplantations Columbia, and so everyone became Columbians.

Columbus quickly went home afterwards - to Spain, where he was honoured... and also ridiculed. Died while being poor, in the middle of nowhere in Brazil.
