Soccer balls? From my llama skin? It's more unlikely than you think

Incas are a tribe of mountain people which lives in present-day Peru. Used to kick golden balls. Apparently they had a more developed technology than Egyptians, so they built buildings from even bigger stones.

Since there was a lot of stones & gold, their empire golden age was infinite until Spaniards explained to 'em that stones are bullshit, gold es muy bueno. And so Spaniards stole Incas balls and started playing with 'em themselves.

Later the conquistadors confiscated the whole room of those gold balls and told Incas to play with llama skin balls.

English saw them and decided - 'dat's a great idea! And that's how soccer/football was born...?!
