It was created originally by [[Netscape]], when they were the biggest internet company. Yet back then it was blank and not very good, but later it advanced quite a bit. And much later, after the DOM model was created, alongside all the CSS stuffs, it blew up and now everything is different, thus any website can be like separate program. | |||
The language's name has nothing to do with Java, it happened that way because when Netscape promoted their Livescript, they reached out to Sun Microsystems, & agreed to replace Live with Java in the language's name. | |||
