Planned-obsolescence behavior is a psychopathic behavior that is exhibited
by manufacturing executives of psychopathic temperament.
The behavior consists of designing their products in such a way that those products
unnecessarily stop working.
That serves to force people to buy more of that type of product.
That is done via incorporating one or more flimsy components within the product.

Planned-obsolescence behavior is most-often combined with conspiracy behavior
(which is a common general behavior of psychopaths),
resulting in conspiratorial planned-obsolesence behavior.
In this behavior, the executives of multiple companies, which make the same product,
all conspire to make that product unnecessarily stop working,
so that, when consumers buy from different brands,
it makes no difference in regard to the honesty of the products.
Although such conspiracy-behavior can involve actual communication between executives,
it can also be done without the use of explicit communication, via imitation.

As with all psychopathic behaviors, conspiratorial planned-obsolescence behavior
can be counteracted via high-magnitude long-duration aversion-conditioning
via direct stimulation of the brain.
